- We assist clients on their Life or Takaful product design and profit testing through to valuation and Financial Condition Reporting and acting as Statutory (Appointed/Reporting/Signing) actuary to the relevant regulator.
- Life or Takaful insurance is currently a small proportion of total insurance business, by Written Premium, in the Gulf. But life premiums are held and managed for many years and so life companies tend to grow much larger balance sheets than General Insurance companies.
- We use Mo.net, an industrial strength financial modelling system, to robustly and consistently price and value life products and companies. The usual approach of using Excel leads to error and inconsistency and model risk.
- Mo.net can also be implemented in-house at life companies, allowing your technical staff to perform much of the modelling work themselves, cheaper and more often than using external actuarial consultants.
