Navarun joined Lux’s Dubai office in 2018 after graduating with Honors in Applied Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has extensive experience across both statutory and consulting engagements, advising regional and international insurers and reinsurers on complex actuarial and analytical challenges.

He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Machine Learning Task Force and is widely recognized as a thought leader in data science, advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence within the actuarial profession. At Lux, Navarun leads research and technical development initiatives across pricing, data analytics, and IFRS 17, combining rigorous technical expertise with strong process and systems engineering capabilities.

Outside of work, Navarun is an avid hiker, an accomplished opera singer, and an amateur racing driver.
