Sallama joined Allied Actuarial Consultancy (AAC), now Lux Actuaries Jordan, in late 2016, as Actuarial Manager, leading the Life and Employees’ Benefits Department. She oversees numerous projects focused on end-of-service benefit valuations, specifically under IAS 19, for companies across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the GCC. Sallama also manages the valuation of mathematical reserves for several insurance companies. Her qualifications include a Fellowship with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and two Master's degrees with distinction in Actuarial Management and Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University. She also holds a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science from the University of Jordan and was a recipient of the prestigious Chevening scholarship. Before her time at AAC, Sallama was an Actuarial Analyst at the Palestinian Pension Agency, where she contributed to actuarial studies and pension reform projects with the World Bank and the ILO.
