Samarth is an Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), UK, with more than 7 years of experience in the general insurance. He works with insurers and regulators across the Middle East, delivering actuarial solutions that combine technical depth with practical business insight.

Samarth specialises in general insurance with a focus on reserving, IFRS 17 implementation and regulatory reporting. His experience also spans pricing reviews, rate adequacy monitoring, reinsurance assessments, solvency assessments and actuarial due diligence. He has worked closely with appointed actuaries and senior stakeholders, supporting regulatory submissions and guiding clients through complex actuarial challenges.

Beyond client delivery, Samarth contributes to mentoring and developing junior colleagues, enhancing internal processes, and supporting business development initiatives. He is also proficient in a range of actuarial and analytical tools, which he leverages to drive efficiency and insight.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing chess and strategy games.
