Shivash is a Managing Partner of Lux, where he led the expansion of the firm into the UAE, whilst also currently managing Lux KSA operations. A Fellow of both the Institute of Actuaries (UK) and the Actuarial Society of South Africa, he provides expert technical underwriting and actuarial support to clients in the general, health, and motor insurance sectors across the Gulf. Shivash leads Lux insurance operations services and works closely with other Lux offices in strengthening the regional footprint of Lux.

Prior to joining Lux, Shivash gained a comprehensive background in both health and life insurance at Alexander Forbes Financial Services and QED Actuaries and Consultants respectively, building a strong foundation in claims reserving, pricing, and product development. With over 15 years of experience as a Fellow working in the Gulf, Shivash has a seasoned knowledge of current insurance trends and regional developments, with a particular focus on health insurance.
