Wali holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial mathematics from the University of Manitoba (Class of 2018), Canada, and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), currently pursuing Fellowship under the General Insurance track.

Wali has extensive consulting experience across the MENA region, supporting insurers on pricing, product development, reserving, IFRS 17 implementation, capital and risk management, and reinsurance strategy. Wali has worked on actuarial model development, portfolio profitability analysis, solvency assessments, and process automation, helping clients balance regulatory compliance with business objectives.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing football, chess, padel, and table tennis.
